TWO-Ingredient Nutella Hot Chocolate Let’s start off with the basics, chocolate. This TWO-ingredient Nutella hot chocolate sticks to the basics, being mostly chocolate of course, while keeping it simple. All you need is Nutella and milk! Just heat your milk up on the stove until it’s steaming, before adding in Nutella and whisking it until it dissolves. That’s it! You can also add whipped cream, marshmallows or chocolate shavings on top if you wish. Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate Gingerbread Hot Cocoa This one’s for those of us who immediately jump into Christmas mode once Halloween is over. To make this delicious gingerbread hot cocoa you’ll need a little more than some milk and chocolate. While heating your milk on the stove, mix some cocoa powder, brown sugar, white sugar, all spice, ginger, vanilla extract and sea salt in a bowl. Once the milk is done, whisk it all together, pour it in a cup, add some whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top, and a little gingerbread man if you wish, and ta-da! Christmas in a cup! Pumpkin Spice White Hot Chocolate If you’re following the calendar and are still in Fall mode, then pumpkin spice is the way to go! To create this white chocolate version of hot chocolate, all you need is some milk, cream, white chocolate chips, vanilla extract, pumpkin spice and some whipped cream. Heat up your milk and cream over the stove, before pouring it into a cup of white chocolate chips. Stir your cup until the chocolate chips are melted, add in your vanilla extract and pumpkin spice, and serve it with some whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice on top! Snowman Soup This one’s for all the kids, or kids at heart, out there. To make some delicious snowman soup, grab your favourite hot cocoa mix and prepare it according to the package instructions. Then pour it in a cup and add a dollop of marshmallow crème in, as well as some mini marshmallows and snowflake sprinkles on top. To make the snowman, position two candy eyeballs, one Reese’s piece for an orange nose, and one moustache icing decoration on top of the marshmallows. Add in a rolled wafer for your finishing touch and enjoy your snowman soup! With so many to choose from, what hot chocolate rendition will keep you warm this Fall/Winter? |
