Prizes are not transferable, must be accepted as awarded, and may not be substituted or converted to cash, except by VIBE105FM as indicated below. VIBE105FM reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater monetary value, whether in cash or otherwise, if a prize cannot be awarded as described. VIBE105FM however, will not be responsible if weather conditions, event cancellations, or other factors beyond their reasonable control prevent the Prize or any part of the Prize from being fulfilled. In any such event, winners will not be provided with a substitute for the missing Prize or any such part of the Prize but will be eligible to enter or win another contest.
What do I need to bring?
Any form of VALID government issued photo identification.
Can a friend or family member pick up my prize?
No, the declared official winner must claim their prize with copy of your ID.
When can I win again?
You are eligible to win after 90 days for daily prizes ($50.00-$500). Prizes valued at $500-$5000.00, you are eligible to win after 2 years.
How long do I have to pick up my prize?
You have 30 days to claim your prize from the date of your win. If you are not able to claim your prize within the 30 day time-frame, please phone the receptionist and arrangements will be made to hold the prize for up to 1 week only. If you do not make an official arrangement with reception or promotions, your prize will be forfeited by our office. In such a case your prize is forfeited by our office you will still be required to wait the 90 days for prizing between $50-$500 or 2 years for prizing worth $500-$5000. Please ensure that you always call reception at 416-213-1035 to make sure your prize is available at the time you wish to pick it up. These rules are subject to change with notice from the station. Some restrictions apply. Winners will be notified by telephone.
Can you mail my prize to me?

GENERAL PRIZES:

These rules and regulations shall apply to all on-air and/or online contests (the “Contest”) unless stipulated otherwise, and where alternate rules and regulations are made available to the public. If there are any discrepancies between these rules and regulations and any other rules and regulations posted for any particular Contest (the “Alternate Rules”), such discrepancy shall be resolved in favour of the Alternate Rules.
Eligibility:
The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside. No person who is employed by the VX3 Exchange or its affiliate companies, and no persons who are domiciled with any such employee shall be entitled to enter the Contest.
In certain cases, minors under the age of majority will be permitted to enter the Contest and be eligible to win the prize. In no case, however will a minor be declared a winner without the prior written consent and release of liability of the minor’s parent or legal guardian.
For clarity, prize winner includes any person who wins a prize, regardless of whether the winner picks up the prize or not, and any caller who qualifies for a grand prize draw.

How to Enter:
There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest.
Upon hearing the cue-to-call, callers being the correct caller through (i.e. the 13th caller) will be asked to answer a trivia question or perform another task as described by the on-air host. If the caller correctly answers the question or performs the task, he will be declared a potential winner. If the caller fails to answer the question correctly or to perform the task, the next caller will given the opportunity to answer or to compete the task. If no caller has correctly answered the question or completed the task, the fifth caller through will automatically be declared the potential winner.
Upon being declared a potential winner, the caller must be available during all day parts on the day of the draw to answer unaided a time-limited mathematical skill testing question. If not available or unable to answer the question correctly a new potential winner will be drawn. Upon correctly answering that question, the potential winner will be declared the winner.
In the event that the on-air host cannot call the potential winner live the potential winner be announced on the air and be asked to answer unaided a time-limited mathematical skill testing question at a later time. If unable to answer the question correctly a new potential winner will be drawn.
Callers shall be responsible for all long-distance charges or other fees associated with entering the Contest.
Value:
No Prize may be exchanged for cash, sold or transferred to any third party.
Odds of Winning:
The odds of winning the Contest are dependent on the number of callers attempting to enter the Contest at any given time.
Liability:
The winner acknowledges that the collection or use of the prize may be inherently dangerous and agrees to release and hold harmless the VX3 Exchange for any and all damages he may incur through entering the Contest or through the collection or use of the prize. The winner also agrees to sign a standard release and waiver of liability prior to claiming the prize.
General:
Prize winners shall be responsible for all costs and expenses not explicitly stated to form part of the prize, including but not limited to taxes, fees, gratuities, insurance, or travel to and from the airport.
Where the Prize includes travel, the Prize winner must ensure that he and his companion have all the necessary travel documents required to travel to the destination on the dates specified in the prize description. Valid Canadian Passport, passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the travel date. and must be able to enter the USA (no criminal charges or DUI’S). Minimum age for the prize winner and guest is 18 yrs old. Must have a major credit card to present at the hotel check in for any incidentals..
Prior to receiving the Prize, the Prize winner shall sign a standard release and liability waiver absolving the VX3 Exchange of all its obligations under the Contest and accepting the Prize as awarded as full and final satisfaction of all items owed to him or her by VX3 Exchange.
The VX3 Exchange may at its sole discretion substitute a prize or a portion thereof with an alternate prize of equal or greater value. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the VX3 Exchange shall not be responsible to substitute a prize or portion thereof where such Prize cannot be redeemed due to factors beyond its reasonable control.
VX3 Exchange reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest in any way it deems appropriate, and for any reason, at any time prior to the declaration of a winner.
Any pronouns used in these rules and regulations shall be modified for gender and number as the case may require, and shall apply as though the correct gender and number had been included herein.
