14-Year-Old Cancer Patient Gents Surprise from Drake on His Birthday

Lately we’ve been seeing a lot of Drake’s generous side from the gifting of his merch for his upcoming album Certified Lover Boy to tons of celebrities, to giving DJ Khaled an iced-out chain for their recent collabs & now giving 14-year-old Zelek Murray a birthday he’ll never forget.

​Zelek, who is from Toronto, has been battling a rare form of brain cancer called Ependymoma since 2015. After receiving word from Mustafa the Poet that Zelek is a Drake fan, Drake and Mustafa surprised Zelek with a personal video wishing him a happy birthday.

​In the video, Drake lets Zelek know how much he admires him saying, “I can't imagine how tough you have to be, and Mustafa The Poet let me know how you’re a fan of mine. Well, I'm a fan of you. I'm a fan of people with heart, and I can tell that you have a lot of heart. I just want to tell you, stay strong, I love you, and I appreciate you.”

His strength is like no other and yes he has his good days and bad days, BUT THIS is exactly what he needed to lift up his Spirit.. to never give up.
