After the unexpected change from T.I. v.s. Jeezy to Jeezy v.s. Gucci Mane for the season 2 opener of Verzuz, it looks like Wack 100 has become inspired to get two other notable rappers who have had problems in the past, to squash it with a Verzuz battle as well.
âItâs no secret that Gucci Mane and Jeezy have had a long-standing beef, dating back to 2005, following the shooting death of Jeezyâs friend Pookie Loc, by Gucci Mane, during a home invasion. But fast forward to last summer, where Jeezy sat down with T.I. on his ExpediTIously podcast saying that heâs ready to squash the beef with Gucci Mane.
It looks like Gucci Mane is ready to, after previously turning down a request from Jeezy for a Verzuz battle, to now accepting to go hit for hit with the self-proclaimed âsnowmanâ himself on the season 2 opener of Verzuz.
âThe Gameâs manager, Wack 100, appears to have been inspired by the move, pushing for a Verzuz battle between his artist The Game and 50 Cent. Similar to Gucci Mane and Jeezy, these two are also known to have a slew of problems with one another, exchanging hundreds of diss tracks over the decades as a result.
âWack 100 took to Instagram to share the idea of 50 Cent and The Game battling it out on Verzuz, with the caption âI got âem to shake hands and function in the same clubs together twice â with a little help from @unclemurda & @djkslay it might just happen â all respect @50cent you told me we was good, letâs give âem what they want - @losangelesconfidential smiles everyday - #bridgingthegapâ.
50 Cent hasnât shown much interest in taking part in a Verzuz battle, after turning down one of T.I.âs many offers, but maybe seeing Gucci Mane and Jeezy reconcile publicly on one of the most popular platforms in the world right now/closest thing weâre going to get to a live stage anytime soon, will inspire him.
