After winning twenty-seven Billboard Music Awards over the course of his career, Drake will be honoured at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards with the Artist of the Decade Award.
The award, which is presented by NBC and Dick Clark Productions, is based on activity of the artist on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts, social media data, and touring revenue from December 5th, 2009 to September 28th, 2019.
Over the past decade, Drake has had nine #1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart, thirty-three songs in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and six #1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, which no other artist has ever accomplished in just one decade.

Drake has also had the most #1 and the most top 10 songs on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. Despite his latest release, Scary Hours 2, being ineligible towards his stats for the Artist of the Decade Award, Drake made history as the only artist to debut all 3 songs on that project in the top 3 spots of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
