4 months after giving birth to their son Onyx Carter, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea decided to share with the world via Instagram that she has split from her child’s father Playboi Carti. ​
The two were dating since 2018, before Iggy disappeared off Instagram late last year, with fans speculating that she was pregnant with the Atlanta based rapper’s child, which she confirmed was true after announcing the birth of her son in June of this year.

Iggy took to her Instagram story to confirm the birth of her son writing, “I have a son. I kept waiting for the right time to say something, but it feels like the more time passes, the more I realize I'm always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world. I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret & I love him beyond words.â€
Although, it appears her thoughts on that initial statement might have changed after she took to Instagram to post a picture of both her and her son, following her Instagram story posts alluding to her no longer being in a relationship with Playboi Carti.
​Azalea wrote, “You lost a real one. People take loyalty for granted & that’s why I’d rather be alone.†before clarifying the next day that she is raising her son alone and is no longer in a relationship.
Hopefully, she didn’t post these pictures out of spite and the two can find a way to amicably co-parent. Good luck to them!
