While fans have been patiently awaiting the release of J. Coleâs 6th studio album The Off-Season, he recently dropped a documentary giving fans an inside look at his music career.
Cole abruptly pushed the release date of his album back, seemingly so that he could drop the documentary first, which was executive produced by him, as well as his manager Ibrahim Hamad. Applying Pressure: The Off-Season is 12 minutes long and was directed by Scott Lazer.
The drop comes after confirmed reports of J. Cole signing with Rwandaâs Patriots B.B.C., a basketball team in the Basketball Africa League, which is a joint effort between the NBA and FIBA. The North Carolina native is set to play in three to six games, starting this Sunday.
Itâs been an eventful week for J. Cole to say the least. The Off-Season is set to drop this Friday and you can check out Applying Pressure: The Off-Season here.
