Offset is both producing and starring in a new streetwear competition series called The Hype, which will follow 10 streetwear professionals competing in challenges that cover all aspects of creating from designing, to the business side of things, to identifying the latest trends and more.
Offset will be one of the judges on the show, alongside Marni Senofote who is a costume designer credited with working with Beyoncé and Lauryn Hill, as well as Beth Birkett, Bephies Beauty Supply founder and creative director.
Complexâs Speedy Morman will be hosting the eight part series, that will be executive produced by Roc Nation co-founders Jay Brown and Tyran âTy Tyâ Smith along with a few others.
âWhen speaking on the upcoming series, Offset says that, âI feel like the show The Hype was created with creatives like myself in mind. Iâm happy to not only be a co-signer for the show but a producer. We are giving opportunities to the culture.â
Be sure to keep an eye out for an official release date for The Hype.
