By Nobetternina (@Nobetternina) With a four-year gap between his album Partymobile, which dropped earlier this year, and his previous album, PARTYNEXTDOOR posted and deleted a cryptic message that has fans speculating. The Mississauga native posted a tweet that read, “1 more album left then ima tell y’all what it’s life”, before shortly deleting it. Being the first artist signed to Drake’s OVO label, a lot of fans are speculating that what he’s going to tell them after the next album is how OVO really treats him. Although, PND has never expressed any ill will towards Drake or his label ever before, and him deleting the tweet may have been because of the speculation of this coming from fans. But it’s also not the first time Party has taken to Twitter to express his frustrations with the music industry. Earlier this year, PND made headlines for going on a Twitter rant about getting zero nominations for this year’s BET Awards. “When did Black entertainment television get so complex and forget Partynextdoor is the rnb artist of our generation?", Party tweeted, before following up with another tweet that read, “Is it because I don't wanna be friends? Is it because I put value in the art instead of people? Is it because it's not the popular opinion? I am BET I am Complex.” There’s no doubt that PND has influenced the music industry with his sound, so hopefully this tweet about his “last album” was just a typo and that’s why he deleted it…hopefully. |
