Travis Scott and his non-profit organization, The Cactus Jack Foundation, partnered up with the city of Houston, Texas to feed over 1000 families last month following the devasting Winter storm that occurred.
The Cactus Jack Foundation held a food drive at Willowridge High School in Houston, giving community members access to fresh produce, canned food, water, masks and PPE gear, offering a drive-up only service in adherence with COVID-19 protocol.
Houston’s mayor Sylvester Turner also publicly supported the food drive, that aimed to help those in need, after the Texas storm left millions without power, killing 82 people.
This isn’t The Cactus Jack Foundation’s first rodeo though, as they also did a holiday drive last year, and I’m sure it won’t be their last.
