After dropping his r&b capsule Playboy in March, Tory Lanez recently did a live virtual performance of Playboy followed by a sit down with DJ Carisma to talk about what’s next for him.
In his interview, Tory revealed that he would be dropping two singles, one featuring Da Baby and one featuring Yung Bleu, soon. Tory also announced that he has a collaborative project in the works with Chris Brown.
Tory went on to say that him and Chris Brown work really well and really quickly together, but Twitter users seemed to be unamused with this collaboration because of Tory and Chris’ past.
Back in July of last year, Tory Lanez was accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot, and back in 2009 Chris Brown had physically abused Rihanna, with social media users labelling their collaboration as the “domestic violence album of the year” or “a new R&B group called misogyny’s child.”
Others were a little more graphic in describing what listeners can expect to hear from both artists on this project, but individually they do make good music so this collab could actually be very musically appealing.
