By DJ O Throttle, the Australian DJ from Melbourne has a new single. It is an upbeat throwback to a cliché that’s been used many times but not quite like this. Back in it’s heyday, the song won a grammy award for best R&B single thanks to Ray Charles. “Hit the Road Jack” by Throttle features a saxophone melody like the original, but infuses a saw synthesizer more commonly used in pop. It’s the perfect song to throw on at a party since the lyrics are sparse and catchy to remember. The track also has a great build up and bass drop. It’s not as good as Bill Withers’ Lido remix of "Ain’t No Sunshine”, but it’s a great modern throwback for an old tune.
