Beyoncé has won her first Primetime Emmy Award.

Bey’s Emmy comes in the category of outstanding costumes for variety, nonfiction, or reality programming. The honor is part of the Emmy’s juried awards that will be celebrated at the 77th Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 6th and 7th.

A panel of professionals reviews juried category entries, and they may choose to give an Emmy to one, more than one, or no entry. There are no nominees—just a single round of evaluation and voting.

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.
