Cardi B Drops The Video For Her New Song That Samples Jay-Z’s “Imaginary Playerz”

Cardi B has shared the new song “Imaginary Playerz.” The latest single from Am I the Drama? appears to sample Jay-Z’s “Imaginary Players,” and Cardi B has suggested that Jay-Z approved of the song and homage. The single was produced by DJ SwanQo, OctaneThisThatGas, and Sean Island, and it comes with a video that Cardi B directed with Patientce Foster. Am I the Drama?—Cardi B’s long-awaited sophomore studio album—is out September 19. The album will include “WAP,” “Up,” and “Outside.”

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years.
