Cam’ron Targets Dame Dash in New Freestyle Amid Lawsuit

This month, 50 Cent announced he had secured the rights to the iconic film Paid In Full, with plans to adapt it into a premium television series in collaboration with Cam’ron. The announcement has reignited a longstanding rivalry between Cam’ron and Dame Dash, co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, now spilling into the courtroom.

Dame Dash has filed a high-profile lawsuit against Cam’ron, seeking $300 million in damages, alleging a series of defamatory remarks he claims have harmed his business interests. In an Instagram post, Dash laid out his grievances: “I never hustled with @mr_camron; he’s a civilian. However, he’s meddling with my family office and causing discomfort for my wife and two sons.” He stressed his preference for legal resolution, adding, “I would never advocate violence, and I don’t wish harm upon those who care about me.” Dash concluded with a pointed note to the courts: “The courts will have to make a determination, as we conduct ourselves as businessmen,” while cryptically referencing potential property disputes.

Cam’ron responded swiftly, releasing the song When I See You alongside a music video that takes jabs at Dash, including playful references to his dental issues. The track underscores the heightened tension following 50 Cent’s announcement, with Cam’ron inviting collaborators to connect with him while 50 Cent is abroad.
