Nas and Resorts World New York Casino Receives Unanimous Approval

Nas and Resorts World are close to bringing a $5.5 billion casino and resort to Queens, New York.

The Queens Community Advisory Board unanimously voted to make the project happen.

Final approval needs to come from the Gaming Facility Location Board.

Ironically, Jay-Z’s proposal for a casino deal in Times Square was rejected last week. Queens borough president Donovan Richards said, “There’s a theme in Queens, and I know that Nas was a part of this: Queens get the money. Sorry, Jay-Z, we win again.”
