‘Wheel of Fortune’ Gets Record-Breaking $1 Million Winner

A Connecticut woman has now made TV game show history by winning a record-setting million dollars of ‘Wheel of Fortune’ on Wednesday.

Christina Derevjanik secured the “One Million Dollar” wedge early in the game and moved onto the bonus round after winning more than $35,000 in cash and trips.

She won the million bucks after spinning the wheel landing on that envelope. After correctly guessing the puzzles answer as “pack of coyotes”, she won $1,035,155 — a record haul for ‘Wheel of Fortune’.

Derevjanik says she’ll use her winnings to purchase a home.

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years.
