Lil Durk Tries To Get Murder Case Dismissed

Lil Durk and his attorneys are challenging prosecutors in his murder-for-hire case.

Durk and his team are accusing the prosecution of withholding evidence and demanding that the charges be dismissed before trial.

Prosecutors allege that Lil Durk orchestrated a plot to kill Quando Rondo in retaliation for the killing of his close friend King Von.

Durk’s legal team argues that the indictment lacks specifics needed to prepare for trial, including details about the alleged directions given by Durk and the recipients of the messages offering incentives for the killing.

Durk’s legal team has filed a motion to dismiss the charges or compel prosecutors to provide detailed facts.

Lil Durk has filed for bail multiple times but has been denied each time.

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.
