Toronto Sports Teams Chang Their Logos In Support Of The Blue Jays

In support of the Toronto Blue Jays’ appearance in the World Series, several other Toronto sports teams changed their social media logos to a Blue Jays-themed design on October 24, 2025.

This “Team Toronto” show of solidarity included the following sports franchises:

Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL): Changed its profile picture to a Leafs logo with Blue Jays colours.
Toronto Raptors (NBA): Swapped its logo for a Blue Jays-themed version.
Toronto FC (MLS): Used a Blue Jays-themed logo to show support.
Toronto Argonauts (CFL): Changed its logo to match the Blue Jays theme.

In addition to the logo changes, the Maple Leafs and Raptors also moved the start times of several games to allow fans to watch the Blue Jays in the World Series

Claudia Sandz is an honors graduate of Centennial College’s Communications and Media Fundamentals program and Humber College’s Radio Broadcasting program. She has co-hosted the live-streamed podcast Gringo Latino Talks, written blogs for popular Canadian Latin brand Barrio at TorontoLatino.com, and assisted Friday Ricky Dread on the WeLoveHipHop Network.

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.

As chair of the JUNO Rap Advisory Board, MelBoogie has worked to amplify women’s voices in the industry. She also co-founded the Black Music Brunch with Maestro Fresh Wes, an annual event celebrating contributors to Black music in Canada.
