Everybody is Doing ‘Beez in the Trap’ Trend

Linda Perry, the voice behind 4 Non Blondes’ “What’s Up?” joins Jennifer Lopez for the “What’s Up?” / “Beez In The Trap” trend. They did it twice, flipping the roles.

If you’re not familiar with his new trend, it involves a remix of two songs, “Beez in the Trap,” by rapper Nicki Minaj and 2 Chainz, and the song “What’s Up?” by the 4 Non Blondes.

The videos begin with one person, lip-syncing along to “What’s Up?” That person is standing back-to-back with someone else who is off camera. The camera then pans around to that person who is lip-synching the rap to “Beez in the Trap.”

Jimmy Fallon, featuring activist Malala Yousafzai, is one of the most popular videos on the internet. It’s been viewed over 73 million times on TikTok.
