The case was dismissed with prejudice in California.
Rymir Satterthwaite has spent years trying to prove Jay-Z was his father. Satterthewaite claimed that Hov impregnated his mother, Wanda, in the 1990s.

Before she died in 2016, Wanda filed a civil lawsuit in New Jersey seeking child support from Jay-Z.
Rymir Satterthwaite expressed his desire for Jay-Z to take a paternity test. He said, “I really want to resolve this. I want to resolve this and get this matter done. I really do. I don’t want any money. I just want the truth.”

Satterthwaite emphasized that he was not seeking fame or money, but wanted to resolve the matter and move on, especially after his mother passed away during the case, saying, “My mom passed away during this case, and I really feel like I have unfinished business.”
Jay-Z had denied being Sattertwaite’s father. His attorneys had previously said, “The fabricated allegations and claims have been addressed—and rejected—in multiple other courts.”
