De La Soul are ready to make 2025 a memorable year before it comes off to a close, especially for fans of the old school style of things. As one Reddit user also mentioned, 2025 truly is the year of the ‘old-heads’ — with multiple legacy projects releasing by premium artists.

Now, De La Soul are coming out with a new album called Cabin In The Sky, which will hit streaming stores as early as the coming Friday (November 21st). But, to tease, they have already revealed the tracklist (which features a solid assortment of artists seldom seen together on a roster).

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.

As chair of the JUNO Rap Advisory Board, MelBoogie has worked to amplify women’s voices in the industry.
