Miss Jamaica Falls Off Stage During Miss Universe Paegent

Miss Jamaica Gabrielle Henry fell off the stage during the Miss Universe preliminary evening gown category.

The Miss Universe Organization confirmed that Henry was not suffering from any life-threatening injuries and was receiving medical care.

Miss Universe Organization President Raúl Rocha visited Henry in the hospital and reassured the public that she had no broken bones and was under good care.

The organization asked for positive thoughts and prayers for Henry’s recovery as she continues to receive medical attention.

The incident occurred just days before the Miss Universe finals in Thailand on November 25th.

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.

As chair of the JUNO Rap Advisory Board, MelBoogie has worked to amplify women’s voices in the industry.
