J. Cole has officially unveiled the tracklist for his seventh studio album, The Fall-Off, which is set to be released this Friday.

The project is confirmed to be a massive double album consisting of 24 total tracks, split into two distinct halves titled “Disc 29” and “Disc 39.”

Cole describes the album as a “full circle” moment that connects back to his 2007 debut mixtape, The Come Up, exploring his evolution from a “delusional teenager” to a seasoned artist.

“Disc 29” focuses on the rapper’s mindset at age 29 as he returned to his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, while “Disc 39” offers a wiser perspective from his current life at age 39.

The rapper confirmed he created the project with the intention of it being his final album, sharing, “The Fall-Off brings the concept of my first project full circle… older and a little closer to peace.”

In a personal touch, both the front and back covers of the album are photographs Cole took himself on a disposable camera when he was just 15 years old.
