There’s a little tension bubbling in the dancehall world. Moliy is speaking up after Shaggy claimed she blocked both his and Sean Paul’s versions of tracks recorded on the Shake It to the Max riddim.

Shaggy said her team shut things down, which meant he couldn’t release his song — but Moliy says she never had that kind of control in the first place.

Sean Paul and Shaggy have been doing this for three decades, so hearing this back‑and‑forth is surprising. Shaggy clearly felt a way, but honestly, it sounds like a misunderstanding that blew up bigger than it needed to
