He now ranks as the 3,332nd-richest person in the world, tied with several notable figures, including Beyoncé, which places him as the second-richest hip-hop artist, following Jay-Z.

Jay-Z, who became hip-hop’s first billionaire in 2019, has a net worth of $2.8 billion.
Dr. Dre’s rise to billionaire status comes 12 years after he initially claimed he was hip-hop’s first billionaire, following the 2014 sale of Beats to Apple for $3 billion, at which point he received approximately $500 million.
After experiencing a dip in net worth to $400 million in 2022, Dr. Dre sold parts of his music catalog in early 2023 for $250 million, contributing to his financial resurgence.
