Update On The Shooting Outside of Rihanna’s Home

A Florida woman now faces attempted murder charges for opening fire at Rihanna and ASAP Rocky’s Los Angeles home.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were reportedly inside an Airstream trailer on her Los Angeles property when a woman opened fire from a parked car outside the home.

A new criminal complaint alleges the suspect drove up to the property and fired a semiautomatic weapon multiple times. Prosecutors officially describe the violent act as “willful, deliberate, and premeditated.”

Authorities confirmed Rihanna, her partner A$AP Rocky, their three small children, and her mother were all on the property during the attack. Fortunately, police report no injuries from the terrifying ordeal.

Suspect Ivanna Ortiz currently faces 14 total felony counts. The severe charges include attempted murder and assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman strongly condemned the attack. He said, “Opening fire in any populated neighborhood is extremely dangerous, puts lives at risk, and will be fully prosecuted.”•

Ortiz remains behind bars on a massive $1.8 million bail. A conviction on all charges could send the accused shooter to state prison for the rest of her life
