Costco CEO Ron Vachris is putting an end to rumors about the store’s famous hot dog and soda combo.

Vachris filmed a new video directly from a Costco food court. He sat at a table with the iconic quarter-pound beef hot dog.

An interviewer asked the chief executive about a potential price increase.

Vachris firmly replied, “The hot dog price will not change as long as I’m around.”

Vachris praised the fan-favorite meal before his first bite. He called the food “amazing quality” and declared it “$1.50 well spent.”

This official update brings major relief to inflation-weary shoppers.

Past executives recently sparked consumer panic. They previously warned the bargain was only safe “for a while.”

Costco first launched the popular food court deal in 1985.
