Kanye West (Ye) released his 12th studio album, Bully, following a period of intense delays and a public apology for past antisemitic remarks.

The 18-to-20-track project, released independently via Gamma, features Travis Scott, CeeLo Green, and Nine Vicious, with a focus on human-produced sound rather than AI.

First-Day Streaming Numbers

Spotify: Bully received approximately 33.2 million to 50 million streams in its first 24 hours on Spotify.

Ranking: The album is noted as having the biggest opening day for a hip-hop album in 2026 on Spotify at that point, surpassing J. Cole’s The Fall-Off.

Impact: The album rapidly reached #1 on Apple Music in over 40 countries within 10 hours of its release.
