The wait is finally over—Euphoria is officially back, and Season 3 is coming in hot with a nearly three-minute trailer ahead of its April 12 premiere on HBO and HBO Max.
This new season picks up five years after high school, giving the show a fresh, more mature direction. Zendaya returns as Rue, now living in Mexico and trying to stay clean while dealing with lingering debts. Meanwhile, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) are surprisingly married, living a suburban life that looks calm… but probably isn’t. Jules (Hunter Schafer) is chasing art school dreams, and Maddy has stepped into the Hollywood world with a talent agency job.
As if that wasn’t enough, Season 3 is stacked with major new additions, including Sharon Stone, Rosalía, and Natasha Lyonne.
Behind the scenes, getting this season made wasn’t easy. Creator Sam Levinson reportedly went through multiple rewrites, with even HBO questioning the direction at one point. There were talks of replacing him—or even turning Season 3 into a movie.
But now, it’s finally here.
With a time jump, evolved characters, and a mix of old and new faces, Season 3 is shaping up to be the most ambitious—and possibly final—chapter of Euphoria.
