O’Shea Jackson Jr. defended his father, Ice Cube, on social media after a fan criticized Cube’s post-1990s film career, claiming he hasn’t been in a good movie since then.

Jackson Jr. listed several successful films and franchises involving Ice Cube since 2000, including “Jump Street,” “Barbershop,” “Ride Along,” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

He acknowledged criticisms of Ice Cube’s recent film “War of the Worlds,” which received poor reviews, but Jackson Jr. argued that it does not diminish his father’s overall legacy.

Jackson Jr. ended the argument with a classic quote and told the hater to “check thyself before you wreck thyself.”
