Vybz Kartel will release his new album titled “God & Time” on June 5th.
“God & Time” features collaborations with Puerto Rican reggaeton star Farruko, Shenseea, and Skillibeng, with additional guests to be announced.
The title “God & Time” draws inspiration from a Jamaican expression signifying faith, patience, and destiny, reflecting Kartel’s personal journey after his release from prison in July 2024, where he had been incarcerated for 13 years.
The project follows a successful period for Kartel, characterized by two back-to-back Grammy nominations for Best Reggae Album with “Party With Me” (2024) and “Heart & Soul” (2025), marking a strong comeback since his legal victory and release.
Kartel’s post-prison hit “God Is The Greatest” has garnered over 30 million views, contributing to the anticipation surrounding the upcoming album, which also reunites him with long-time collaborator TJ Records, responsible for past hits like “Fever.”
In addition to the album release, Kartel is set to headline Reggae Sumfest on July 18, 2026, alongside Mavado, highlighting his prominent return to the musical stage and the dancehall scene after years of absence.
