The hit series Godfather of Harlem is officially coming to an end with an upcoming two-hour finale on MGM+.
Forest Whitaker stars as real-life crime boss Bumpy Johnson in the 1960s drama, a role that has anchored the show for 4 seasons.
MGM+ executives confirmed the two-hour special will act as the series finale, wrapping up the show’s complex storylines.
Head of television Michael Wright said the finale will properly conclude Bumpy Johnson’s battle for control of Harlem.

The network stated that viewers can expect an epic and emotionally satisfying conclusion to the critically acclaimed series.
Godfather of Harlem premiered in 2019 and explored the intersection of the criminal underworld and the civil rights movement.
A premiere date for the finale has not been announced, but fans are eagerly awaiting the dramatic final chapter.
