Brandy Reimagines Iconic Theme for ‘A Different World’ Sequel

Brandy will perform a new rendition of the iconic theme song for Netflix’s upcoming sequel series of “A Different World.”

The relaunch is set to premiere on September 24th while keeping the original lyrics intact.

Brandy expressed personal significance in taking on this role, referencing how the original series influenced her aspirations as a young Black woman and helped shape her entertainment career.

The original “A Different World” aired from 1987 to 1993.

Brandy’s performance follows a legacy that includes renditions by Phoebe Snow, Aretha Franklin, and Boyz II Men.
