Peacock’s hit series “Bel-Air” is in line for a potential spinoff after wrapping up a 4-season run in December.
The network is currently developing a new show called “Hilary,” starring Coco Jones as Will’s ambitious cousin.
The proposed series follows Hilary Banks as she accepts a surprise job offer from celebrity chef Yvonne Durand and makes an impulsive move to New York.
Once in the city, she sets out to prove herself without relying on her family connections, only to discover that love and success come with unexpected costs.
This storyline gives the character a fresh start and completely changes her path from the recent “Bel-Air” finale, where she moved to Los Angeles to launch a cafe.
The New York move actually lines up with the original 1990s “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” finale, bringing the character’s journey full circle.
