Rick Ross Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges in Miami

Rick Ross was arrested by Miami Beach police early Thursday morning on serious domestic violence charges.

The 50-year-old was booked into jail at 6:10 a.m. and faces a felony count of battery by strangulation, along with a misdemeanor battery charge.

He appeared via Zoom in bond court Thursday morning, where Judge Mindy Glazer reviewed the arrest report and found probable cause.

The judge said the alleged incident actually took place on August 28th and described the case as a delayed report.

His attorney, Bradley Horenstein, firmly denied the allegations and urged the public to let the legal process play out.

Horenstein said, “All I can say is that the allegations are false. He’s innocent. Everything is going to come out.”
