Actress Hayden Panettiere, best known for her roles in hit shows like “Hereos” and “Nashville” has died.

Her father, Skip Panettiere, confirmed the news and said, “She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her.”

Panettiere built a long career in television and film, starring as Claire Bennet on the hit series “Heroes” and Juliette Barnes on “Nashville.”

She recently released a candid memoir in May titled “This Is Me: A Reckoning.”

In the book, she opened up about her personal struggles with addiction, postpartum depression, and domestic abuse.

She leaves behind one daughter and died less than a week before she would have turned 37 years old on Friday.

Her family asked for privacy to process the loss, and further details surrounding her death are not yet available.
