The Detroit Pistons have appointed Big Sean as their Creative Director of Global Experience, building on his previous role as Creative Director of Innovation.

The partnership was announced on World Basketball Day and aims to bridge basketball, music, fashion, and art while showcasing Detroit’s identity on a global scale.

Big Sean’s responsibilities will include community engagement, global fan development, and collaborative projects that promote Detroit Basketball internationally.

A key initiative launched alongside this announcement is “Creatives Across Continents,” which invites designers and artists to create original works inspired by Detroit Basketball, with selected pieces forming part of a retail collection set for release in 2026.
