Bob Marley’s ‘Legend’ Continues To Break Records

Bob Marley’s compilation album, “Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers,” has spent 950 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart, marking over 18 years as one of the best-selling and most-consumed albums in the U.S.

Only two albums have achieved 950 weeks or more on the Billboard 200: “Legend” and Pink Floyd’s “The Dark Side of the Moon,” which is on track to become the first album to reach 1,000 weeks.

“The Dark Side of the Moon” typically has less frequent chart appearances compared to “Legend.”

“Legend” dominates the Reggae Albums chart, holding the No. 1 position consistently and slipping from the top only once in nearly 350 weeks.
