Canada’s Wonderland’s New Record-Breaking Rollercoaster “AlpenFury” Is Just Months Away From Reality

Canada’s Wonderland is gearing up for opening day on Wednesday, May 8, kicking off yet another season of hair-raising thrills and fun under the sun. The amusement park assures avid park-goers that the coaster’s construction is running smoothly, sharing a video showing the tophat, which is the highest point on the ride, getting put into place.

Once open, AlpenFury will claim the title of being Canada’s tallest, longest, and fastest launch coaster, shooting riders along the track at a top speed of 115 km/h, with a 154 ft. drop and the ride also features a whopping nine inversions; the most on any launch coaster in the entire world.

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.
