Cardi B traded her microphone for a baseball this weekend to throw out the first pitch at her four-year-old son Wave’s baseball game.

She delivered the ball to a cheering crowd, but she later went on Instagram to heavily complain about the scorching heat at the open-air stadium.

The rapper joked about the uncomfortable weather and called herself a “girls’ mom” with a strong preference for indoor events.

Cardi said, “A dance recital inside, I love it.”

She also admitted the intense outdoor sun made her feel completely exhausted and ready to pass out.

She even took a quick moment to shut down online rumors about her texting an ex during the game, clarifying she was simply messaging her driver.

Despite the extreme heat, the superstar powered through the event and proved she will always step up to the plate to support her children.
