Culture United. Two Of Dancehall’s Biggest Icons Shared One Stage

Vybz Kartel and Mavado together at Reggae SumFest was more than a performance, it was a moment that will live forever in Jamaican music history.

At the historic “A Taste of Reggae Sumfest” held on July 18 at Plantation Cove in St. Ann, Jamaica, dancehall legends Vybz Kartel and Mavado delivered a monumental joint performance, officially burying the hatchet on their legendary “Gaza vs. Gully” rivalry.

The concert featured massive crowd turnouts, marking one of the most highly anticipated moments in Jamaican entertainment history.

Now, VIBE105 FM is where he has chosen to leave his indelible mark. DJ O likes to display contrasting balance to hip-hop with the Nice & Slow slow jam mix show most nights of the week.
