Ghostface Is Burning Down the Past in First Trailer for Scream 7

Just in time for Halloween, we have our first full-on glimpse of the upcoming Scream 7.

In the first trailer for Scream 7, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is back!

The new movie finds Ghostface coming after Sidney, her daughter Tatum (a tribute to Rose McGowan’s character from the first film), and her husband.

David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Scott Foley, and Matthew Lillard, with Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown also set to reprise their roles from the previous two installments.

Here’s a synopsis: When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.

Scream 7 is directed by Kevin Williamson, who wrote the screenplay for the original film. The movie hits theaters on February 27, 2026.

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.

As chair of the JUNO Rap Advisory Board, MelBoogie has worked to amplify women’s voices in the industry.
