J. Cole is officially trading the recording studio for the basketball court.
The superstar will make his debut in the Chinese Basketball Association on Saturday, April 11th.
The 41-year-old artist will suit up for the Nanjing Monkey Kings. He is already in China practicing with his new teammates.

This marks his third time playing professional basketball overseas. He previously played for teams in Rwanda and Canada.
The Chinese basketball regular season wraps up on April 24. Cole will only play a few games.
Cole expressed deep gratitude for the short stint. He said, “I’m getting older… They gave me an opportunity to come play on the court professionally is a blessing for me.”
Cole will return to his music career this summer. He hits the road in July for his massive Fall Off world tour.
