The R&B world is in an uproar over Teddy Riley’s recent claim that he wasn’t paid for his work on Keith Sweat’s “Make it Last Forever” album.

Riley alleged that despite the album’s multi-platinum success and No. 1 chart run, he only received $1,500 and never saw royalty checks.

Jermaine Dupri addressed the controversy in an Instagram video, questioning how unpaid royalties could occur without the involvement of a publishing agreement.
