Jhené Aiko Gets Her First Number 1 Album

Jhené Aiko finally has a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.

Her new project, Westside Whimsy, just debuted at the very top of the chart.

The release earned 74,000 equivalent album units in its first week.Massive streaming activity drove the success with over 71 million on-demand plays.This major milestone arrives nearly 13 years after she first appeared on the Billboard chart in 2013.

She came incredibly close to the top spot in 2020. Her Grammy-nominated album Chilombo peaked at No. 2.

Westside Whimsy makes her the first female R&B artist to lead the chart in 2026.

SZA was the last woman in the genre to hit No. 1 back in May 2025.

The new release officially becomes her 6th project to break into the top 10.
