Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, and Ice Cube are in talks to reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel “24 Jump Street.”
The “Jump Street” films are a comedic adaptation of the late ’80s TV series “21 Jump Street,” focusing on adult officers going undercover in schools.
Following the success of “22 Jump Street,” there were plans for a crossover sequel titled “23 Jump Street,” which would link the franchise to “Men in Black,” though it was never produced.
Jonah Hill commented on the challenges of getting a sequel made, citing “bureaucracy” as a hurdle, but expressed enthusiasm for continuing the franchise with his co-stars.
No release date for “24 Jump Street” has been announced yet, but the project is generating considerable excitement among franchise fans.
