On June 14, 2025, Toronto witnessed a monumental moment in Caribbean music as Kes The Band, Trinidad & Tobago’s dynamic Soca sensation, sold out the iconic Budweiser Stage, marking the venue’s first-ever full-scale Soca headline show. Over 16,000 exuberant fans filled the Amphitheatre, ready to embrace two decades of rhythms, culture, and unbridled joy.

With the party getting started at 6pm with VIBE105’s DJ Kevin rocking the crowd for 2 hours straight…Kes hit the stage at 8pm and went non-stop for two hours and forty-five minutes.

Presented by Live Nation and SOS Fest, this event wasn’t just a concert—it was a cultural celebration. With special guest appearances from Teddy, Tessan Chin, Ravi B, Yung Bredda, Voice, and David Rudder.

As well as heartfelt recognitions, including a Cultural Impact Award from Trinidad & Tobago’s Consul General in Toronto, Simone Young, Kes underscored Soca’s global rise and deep-rooted impact.
