Kyle Lowry Has Officially Announced His Retirement And Will Retire As A Member Of The Toronto Raptors

Kyle Lowry officially announced his retirement from the NBA on July 7, 2026, after a legendary 20-year career.

Fulfilling a long-standing promise, the 40-year-old point guard signed a ceremonial one-day contract to retire as a member of the Toronto Raptors, the franchise where he spent his peak years and earned the moniker “Greatest Raptor of All Time” (GROAT).
