Marvel Announces “Black Panther III” – T’Challa’s Legacy Continues With New Hero

Marvel Studios has officially announced that “Black Panther 3” will hit theaters on December 15, 2028.

The news came during the studio’s presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, where it was confirmed that Ryan Coogler is returning to direct the trilogy finale.

David Jonsson has been cast as T’Challa’s grown son, who will take on the mantle of the iconic hero.

Letitia Wright was also announced to return as Shuri in the upcoming sequel.

Coogler previously hinted at the project in 2025, saying they were working on it hard and confirming it would be his next movie.

While story details are still under wraps, the film will be the second major Marvel Cinematic Universe release in 2028, alongside the newly announced “Ghost Rider.”
